Biography

Coming from the Arsi Region outside of Addis Ababa; Tadu Aabte was born in Arsi, Ethiopia to a farming family. 

Abate is one of the most light heart-ed and funny athletes in athletics today. Dubbed the "dancing man" Abate is widely known for his dance skills by most race organizers. Abate gained his racing experience as one of the pacemakers in the #breaking2 project in Monza, Italy and then went on from that project to debut in the half marathon in his personal best of 60:10. 

Turning to the marathon; Abate has adapted well moving into the sub-2:07 category and placing on the podium in his first three marathons. The sky is the limit for this wonderful, young man.
